A Tranformationless Story?

I love transformation stories, and I have since I was a kid. The name of this web site is a testament to my devotion to this genre. In fact, I believe most forms of fiction are transformation stories in some respect, though they are not usually physical transformations. In typical "Hero's Journey" type stories, the hero goes from being a boy to being a man. In most romantic comedies, two character's initial dislike of each other is transformed into a budding romance. In typical romantic stories, one character's world (typically the woman's) is transformed as they are sucked into the mysterious world of their lover. 

Yet despite my love of transformation stories, and the broad space I see them inhabit, I don't exclusively like transformation stories.  My taste in erotica is more broad. What I tend to like in non-transformation type stories is good descriptions of a non-traditional female body, as well as romantic interaction between the characters in non-traditional ways. Typically, the latter means describing more "dominant" women, though in a loving and gentle way, not in a pain/humiliation way. Those of you who have read most of my stories probably have some idea of what I'm talking about. 

I'm working on a short, non-transformation story at the moment. I'm curious - do any of you ever enjoy non-transformation stories? What do you like to see in them?
