It is critical to make sure that a transformation paragraph can contain both vivid and varied imagery. Here's one of my favorites in Matt L's "Spa Tales":
That early morning Melissa munched on chocolate cake as she drifted off to sleep while watching TV. Little did Melissa know that the baby food substance was causing her appetite to increase as well as to add pounds. The lotion was being use to turn her firm muscles into flab and the face cream was used to soften her facial features...
There's a lot packed in there. I particularly liked the idea of a lotion being able to cause weight gain (and the mental image of it being applied through a massage), and used this motif when I wrote the story Born this Way in the style of Matt's Spa series.
What is your favorite transformation description of the stories on my site? Leave a comment and let me know what I'm doing right, and I'll try to do more of it in the future.
Side note: I've started grad school, which has caused my blog postings to go down a bit. The good news is that I have a lot of big updates in going to share in the next few weeks, including several new stories. I'm also going to try to post to this blog far more regularly. So stay tuned.
