Are you a programmer or web site designer who loves transformation stories? I have a quick technical question for you. I'd love to set up a search function for all my stories by multiple categories, so readers can find exactly what kind of combination of interests they are looking for. Is there an HTML widget of some kind that can create that? Thanks a million.

I saw an interesting article on an eating disorder site that features art with "realistic" super hero bodies - most of them female. This means a healthy dose of weight gain. The art leaves the characters still far skinnier than I think most of us would like to see them, but I think it's a good start. We can think of it as the beginnings of a real transformation. The Transformation Mall has just 3 days left. It closes on February 25th, and then that's it. Thanks to everyone who has supported the project. We've hit 2 of our stretch goals, and if we hit them all in these last three days, this could end up being the longest ebook I've ever written. For food for thought, I wanted to share with you what the Mall will include, so those of you who haven't gotten involved can decide if you'd like to help in a small way and hit those final stretch goals. Included in the Mall are: cheerleaders turning into goths, clothing that turns men into plus sized women, weight gain smoothies, nerd-ifying comic books, a reality altering laptop, songs that cause shrinking, clown-ification, and anthro changes. Barring an unexpected and massive shift in the voting for the stretch goals, the "Cougar Clothes" is almost certainly in as well. We will have at least 1 other stretch goal shop, possibly all 7. In addition, there are several more shops that I'm leaving as surprises. If you want to support the project, $5 is the minimum for the ebook in advance, and $15 is the minimum for the ebook and membership in the "Story Senate." I haven't talked about that a lot, and I wanted to mention more about what that would entail here so you can decide if its worth it to get involved. I envision the Story Senate as a place where I can preview and get feedback on the ideas that are still gestating. Not just new stories, but also new ways of writing stories. That would mean future crowdfunded projects like the Mall, a transformation themed comic or manga, or a transformation themed text based game. The Story Senate is where you can interact with these concepts in their infancy, let me know which have the most interest to you, and help impact what they eventually look like. UPDATE: We're currently at $880 with 1 hour to go, so just 2 Story Senate memberships and we'll hit the next stretch goal. So if you like the stretch goal that's currently in 4th place (it looks like it's going to be the Therapist's Office) then now is your chance. If you get a shop in the Transformation Mall ($50), then it's like getting two shops for the price of one. And of course we are just one triple shop away from getting all 7 stretch goal shops... The Transformation Mall, my first ever crowdfunded project, has met its $500 goal with one week to spare. I'm grateful to all of you who've supported the project. I also want to announce a stretch goal. Over the past few weeks, I've listed out several potential ideas. I'm going to poll my blog audience and see which are your favorites. For every $100 we clear above the goal, I'll write one of them. If we hit $1000, I'll write them all. $600 = 1st place idea into the Mall. $700 = 1st and 2nd place $800 = 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. $900 = 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. $1000+ = ALL seven ideas included! UPDATE: at $595, we are just $5 away from hitting stretch goal #1! Here are the ideas - with two new ones. At the bottom of the post is the poll. I'll leave it open until the Mall project closes on the 25th. 1. Exotic Fish Store: All kinds of rare, tropical fish can be found - but customers who ask too many questions about what's in the back room are in for a real surprise. After being tossed into a saltwater tank, they begin to transform into mermaids! Then, the mermaids are sold to a rich clientele, who are eager to play with their new "pets." I think this one would definitely include some gender change fun. 2. Bowling Alley: Adjoining the mall is a set of bowling lanes that have a habit of attracting petite, uptight women who wouldn't be caught dead bowling otherwise. With each pin knocked down - and with each swig of bear and handful of greasy bar food - these women lose their sophistication and their snobbery. Before long, they become vulgar, low-class, full of curves and much more open minded sexually. 3. Ogre Bodyworks: It purports to be just a normal beauty product place, but every product is specially made to turn girls into monsters: A green face mask that leaves faces green - permanently. A sweet smelling lotion that turns skinny women into hulking, huge monsters. A toothpaste that makes teeth sharp, and a perfume with a smell nobody can ignore. 4. Therapist’s Office: A couple of youngish married professionals (in their late twenties-to mid thirties or so) arrive; they were sort of an "arranged marriage" with both of their families being close, living nearby while growing up, and just sort of falling into dating and then marriage; but while they do love and respect each other, their personalities are now causing problems they didn't anticipate. The husband is tight with money even though both have good incomes, expects the household to be run the way he wants, and rarely says "I love you" to his wife; she is exercise-obsessed, maintaining the champion athlete figure she had in high school and college, and is also not nearly as physical affectionate as her husband would like, with a lower libido than his. But after a unique "therapy session", reality is altered to make sure they leave very pleased with each other. The happy couple is now a roly-poly, bulging beauty with an easy going attitude who loves to cook for her mate, along with dressing sexy (in her 4x-large lingerie) and acting silly/girlish in their bedroom, while her now much meeker and nerdier (in appearance and personality) and even shorter husband shows how much he appreciates his wife with generous affection, flowers, chocolates, and trinkets. 5. New Body 4 U Gym: An attractive young woman is a bit overly jealous and over-protective of her brawny, exceptionally well built boyfriend, especially as she is just a bit out of shape, with a few extra pounds; Resenting the constant attention he gets from other women, despite the two being devoted to each other, she decides a visit to the New Body 4 U gym is in order, where she pays for a very special training session for the both of them, unknown to her boyfriend. By the time they leave, the results are undeniable. Passers-by look at the obviously in love couple and can only wonder why the incredibly fit and striking woman (who looks like a professional figure competitor) is smitten with the puny little fellow with the drooping pot belly. But both are clearly happy with the other as they walk through the mall, with the woman having a knowing smile on her face. 6. Cougar Clothes: A sexy clothing store that turns thin, uptight women into older, voluptuous, sex-crazed cougars. The sales clerks offer advice on how to seduce young guys. There's lots of potential here for fun. Maybe some of the women are accompanied by their boyfriends, who are eager for them to change. Maybe some of them got a gift card and have no idea what's going to happen. Perhaps even a few know what will happen, but welcome the change. 7. Body Swap Photo Booth: The name speaks for itself - friends, family, lovers, or whoever pose in the booth for photos with fun effects, but when the shutter clicks, their bodies are swapped! The poll is closed. Here are the results, we hit stretch goals 1,2, and 3.
Next we have From Nikki to Nerdy: The Ring of Change Saga. Nikki is a blonde bombshell with a hot body and an empty mind. Zeke is the geeky leader of her study group, and begrudges the attention she gets from everyone. When Zeke's friend says Nikki is perfect, Zeke says that the perfect woman is someone even nerdier than he is. Soon, Zeke comes across the magical "Ring of Change," and it finds its way onto Nikki's finger. What will happen when Zeke gets his wish? Can he really handle a woman who can out-nerd him in every conceivable way? From Nikki to Nerdy - the third installment of the Ring of Change Saga - features weight gain, nerd changes, and a healthy dose of philosophy. As Always, you do not need to have a Kindle or any other ebook reader to read Kindle Ebooks. You can read them right on your computer with Kindle for PC, which is from Amazon and is free. Just in time for Valentine's Day, two new transformation ebooks, both with a focus on relationships and the transformations that can occur within them. First, we have From Nathan to Nanako: Changed into a Cheerleader. Nathan would do anything to win the heart of his secret crush, head cheerleader Daniella, but she doesn't know he exists. That's why he's totally surprised when she invites him to a party at her place - a party for two. Nathan's about to discover Daniella has some very specific tastes. This is a steamy and sensual gender and race change transformation tale. Zeke and Nikki are studying for a social sciences exit exam for their grad school program. Nikki is a vapid, skinny airhead, more interested in fashion than in her college education. Zeke, the geeky head of her study group, finds her annoying and not at all attractive. He says he wishes he could find a girl "even nerdier" than he is. Little does he know that Zeke is about to get his wish. Can he really handle a woman who can out-nerd him? From Nikki to Nerdy is the longest, and the most intellectual, ebook that I've written to date. “Lookin’ good?” Nikki said, as she plopped down next to him by the oven. She was larger than he was. That much was obvious to Zeke. He gazed from the decadent looking lasagna to Nikki’s newly pillowy figure. Her ‘mathlete’ V-neck T-shirt had ridden up a little as she sat down and had exposed her belly, which was pasty and pudgy looking. The edges of the armholes looked stretched to nearly the fraying point as her wide, husky upper arms pressed against the fabric. The lasagna cheese popped a big bubble, just as Nikki yawned and arched her back, causing her nipple to nearly slip at the edge of her shirt. She didn’t seem to notice either the near-slip or his glassy eyed ogling of it. She’d lost her conventionally attractive figure and her social clout, but she’d gained so much. If he somehow make her understand what had had happened to her, Zeke wondered, would she consider it a fair trade? Victoria Ellis is the CEO of a chain of fancy, high-priced restaurants. While shopping for a new pansuit, she passes by a family run diner. As a CEO, she's always enjoying caviar and truffles, but it's been forever since she had the kind of comfort food she enjoyed as a child. The smell of cinnamon can be truly intoxicating... In spite of the fact that Victoria knows eating fattening foods might impact her closely-watched waistline, she decides to stop in for a quick bite. She ends up having the most delectable breakfast she's ever had - cinnamon roll french toast with caramelized apples on top. The waitresses are all pleasingly plump, friendly and warm, and seem to have a simple, happy lives - unlike the high-stress, constant grind involved in being CEO. The more full Victoria gets, the more she she becomes infatuated with the idea of working at the restaurant herself. And of course, the food itself facilities her rapid transformation to fit the part - as it has for every other waitress before her. The Breakfast Diner could be a shop in The Transformation Mall, or it could be an ebook. Let me know if you're interested in this concept. And yes, the inspiration came from a real-life diner I visited recently. The Transformation Mall has just 20 days to go. Today I wanted to share some potential character ideas for the project. Let me know what you think! Penny, the Gold Digger Poor, young penny grew up in a trailer park, but she's always longed for a life of luxury. She has her sights set on marrying an older, rich man who will cater to her every whim. Instead, she'll age progress into a wealthy older lady with a penchant for barely-legal boys. Jerry, the Evangelist Jerry's not here to shop, he's here to pass out Bibles and tell everyone else they're sinning - pride, greed, homosexuality, you name it. By the time Jerry goes home, he'll end up an egocentric, materialistic lipstick lesbian. Or a succubus, if he's been a "bad customer." Tanya, the Prize Winner She recently won a game show, and the prize was a $10,000 shopping spree at the Transformation Mall. The catch? She has to spend all the cash in just 2 hours. Tanya will visit every shop if she has to. She's dedicated to taking full advantage of her prize, no matter the cost. Buck, the Bully Buck, high school quarterback, loves to shove nerds into lovers and shout insults at overweight women. He'll soon be cut from the team, however, when he turns into...a nerd? A bbw? A nerdy bbw? A nerd who's obsessed with bbws? You decide! Rick, the Security Guard Paid good money to watch the cameras and not ask questions, Rick loves to see what happens to all the different customers. But what happens once Rick learns what it's like to be on camera himself? He's about to learn a lesson in humility. Let me know your own ideas for characters, too! A character, chapter, and shop in the Transformation Mall (about 1,500 words) is $50, while the ebook in advance is $5. Nathan's an awkward, gentle giant: a big, shy, oaf of a man who crushes hard on the head cheerleader at his school, Daniella. Nathan tries out for the football team to impress her, but even though he doesn't make the cut, he manages to get invited to one of Daniella's famous parties. Little does he suspect that it's a party for two, and Daniella is bent on satisfying her exotic tastes... From Nathan to Nanako: Changed into a Cheerleader is a gender change/race change story. “So, now that dinner’s done, would you like to know why I invited you?” Daniella asked. I swallowed hard, then nodded a little. I wasn’t sure why I was so nervous, but something about her tone of voice made me feel as though this was important. “Uh...sure, yeah,” I replied. “I know you’ve been watching me, Nathan,” Daniella began in a low voice. “Watching you?” I replied, my own voice coming out in a panicked squeak. “From behind the bleachers,” she said, confirming my worst fears. “From math class, from the school dances, from anywhere you can, really. You’d probably sneak into the air vent in the girl’s locker girl if only you’d fit.” I felt horrified. Is this the reason she’d invited me over? To humiliate me? To accuse me of being a stalker? A flurry of conflicting emotions coursed through my veins - rage, frustration, betrayal, anxiety...despair. I rose to my feet and prepared to go. “Hold your horses, Nathan,” she said. “I didn’t say I minded all that attention.” “You...you don’t mind?” I asked, slinking back into my seat, my shoulders slouched as a wave of relief washed over me. “Actually...I’m kind of flattered,” she said, as she stood and began slowly walking towards me. “Really?” I said, gulping a little. The nerves were back now, full force. What a rollercoaster evening, I thought. “Yeah, that’s why I invited you. We have a cheerleading state championship coming up, and I want to debut some new routines for the squad to do,” she explained. “So you want my help...designing cheerleading routines?” I asked, scratching my head. “You’re so sweet,” she said through a giggle, as she stood on her tiptoes to plant a peck on my cheek. |
